Key responsibilities
The Managing Director (MD) will provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership to Hybrid Advertising in Cambodia. The MD is responsible for driving business growth, strengthening client relationships, building high-performing teams, ensuring financial sustainability, and positioning the agency as a market leader.
This role requires a commercially driven leader with deep expertise in advertising, marketing communications, and digital transformation, combined with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and business development capabilities.
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the agencys short- and long-term strategic plans.
- Identify new revenue streams, emerging trends, and growth opportunities in Cambodia and the region.
- Position the agency as an innovative leader in integrated marketing and digital solutions.
- Align operations with global or regional strategy (if applicable).
2. Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Drive annual revenue targets and profitability goals.
- Lead new business acquisition efforts and pitch strategies.
- Build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Expand the agencys portfolio across sectors including FMCG, banking, telecom, real estate, and lifestyle.
- Represent the agency at industry events and networking platforms.
3. Client Leadership
- Oversee client servicing excellence and ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
- Act as senior escalation point for key accounts.
- Ensure strategic and creative outputs meet business objectives and deliver ROI.
- Strengthen long-term partnerships with top-tier clients.
4. Financial Management
- Own P&L responsibility and ensure financial performance meets targets.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Monitor cash flow, pricing strategies, and margin management.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and governance standards.
5. Operational Excellence
- Ensure efficient internal processes across creative, strategy, media, digital, and production teams.
- Drive performance management systems and KPIs across departments.
- Implement best practices in project management and resource allocation.
- Promote operational efficiency and productivity.
6. Team Leadership & Culture
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team.
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent in creative, digital, strategy, and client service.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and performance-driven culture.
- Ensure leadership succession planning and capability building.
7. Digital & Innovation Leadership
- Champion digital transformation within the agency.
- Expand digital marketing capabilities including social media, performance marketing, data analytics, and content strategy.
- Encourage innovation in campaign development, technology integration, and media solutions.
8. Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to local laws, advertising regulations, and industry standards in Cambodia.
- Maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Report regularly to the Board/Regional Leadership on performance metrics.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in advertising, marketing, or communications.
- At least 5–7 years in senior leadership roles (GM, Business Director, CEO, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of the Cambodian market landscape.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing P&L.
- Experience working with multinational and local brands.
- Strong network within the Cambodian business community.
Salary range
USD7000 – USD10000gross
