Key responsibilities

.

  • Manage the end-to-end ticketing operations, including ticketing sales and distribution.
  • Scheduling flights based on client needs and available flights
  • Communicating with clients to answer questions about tickets, pricing, or flight schedules
  • Explaining airport/airline rules and procedures to passengers prior to boarding flights
  • Explaining applicable fees and taxes for each ticket to passengers
  • Processing refunds for lost or damaged tickets or reservation errors
  • Create and execute plans to optimize ticket sales, manage inventory and enhance the customer experience.
  • Negotiate fares, contracts, and commissions with suppliers or travel partners to secure competitive rates.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including airlines, hotels, travel partners and internal departments to ensure smooth business processes.
  • Managing and mentoring ticketing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
  • Track sales data, analyze trends and generate reports to support decision-making.
  • Implement quality assurance measures and process improvements for ticketing operations.
  • Ensure compliance and keep up to date with the relevant regulations and company policies related to ticketing and travel.

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience as a Ticketing Executive.
  • Experience and have obtained a certificate in either one of the ticketing systems, such as IATA, Amadeus and Sabre.
  • Strong knowledge of airline ticketing rules, fare calculations, refunds, and exchanges and reissues.
  • Pro-active and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as participate within the team.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a mature attitude and be a good team player.
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities.
  • Ability and passion to challeng the status quo and lead the team for changes.

Salary range

$1500
